بادشاہ نے ایک درویش سے کہا۔۔ ” مانگو کیا مانگتے ہو

بادشاہ نے ایک درویش سے کہا۔۔
” مانگو کیا مانگتے ہو؟" درویش نے اپنا کشکول آگے کردیا اور عاجزی سے بولا۔۔
” حضور! صرف میرا کشکول بھر دیں۔۔" بادشاہ نے فوراً اپنے گلے کے ہار اتارے انگوٹھیاں اتاریں جیب سے سونے چاندی کی اشرفیاں نکالیں اور درویش کے کشکول میں ڈال دیں لیکن کشکول بڑا تھا اور مال و متاع کم ۔۔ لہٰذا اس نے فوراً خزانے کے انچارج کو بلایا۔۔... انچارج ہیرے جواہرات کی بوری لے کر حاضر ہوا‘ بادشاہ نے پوری بوری الٹ دی لیکن جوں جوں جواہرات کشکول میں گرتے گئے کشکول بڑا ہوتا گیا۔۔ یہاں تک کہ تمام جواہرات غائب ہوگئے۔۔بادشاہ کو بے عزتی کا احساس ہوا اس نے خزانے کہ منہ کھول دیئے لیکن کشکول بھرنے کا نام نہیں لے رہا تھا۔۔ خزانے کے بعد وزراء کی باری آئی. اس کے بعد درباریوں اور تجوریوں کی باری آئی‘ لیکن کشکول خالی کا خالی رہا۔۔ ایک ایک کر کے سارا شہر خالی ہوگیا لیکن کشکول خالی رہا۔۔ آخر بادشاہ ہار گیا درویش جیت گیا۔
درویش نے کشکول بادشاہ کے سامنے الٹایا‘ مسکرایا‘ سلام کیا اور واپس مڑ گیا. بادشاہ درویش کے پیچھے بھاگا اور ہاتھ باندھ کر عرض کیا۔۔
” حضور ! مجھے صرف اتنا بتادیں یہ کشکول کس چیز کا بنا ہوا ہے ؟" درویش مسکرایا اور کہا ۔۔
” اے نادان ! یہ خواہشات سے بنا ہوا کشکول ہے‘ جسے صرف قبر کی مٹی بھر سکتی ہے۔۔۔

اور سب سے زیادہ مجھے انتظار ہے ’’آئی ایس پی آر‘‘ کی جانب سے اظہارِ شرمندگی کا، آپ کے ساتھ وطن کے تحفظ کی جنگ لڑنے والے مررہے ہیں آپ اب تو یقینا’’ آپ کی طرف سے دو بول تعزیت کے ہی سہی ادا ہوں گے۔۔۔۔!!
